Payment rates
Here you will find information about the payment rates to the NOx Fund.
The rates of payment to the NOx Fund in 2024 are NOK 17.50 per kilo NOx for oil and gas industry and NOK 11.50 for the other sectors (shipping, fishing, land-based industry, aviation, district heating etc.). In comparison, the fiscal NOx tax in 2024 is NOK 25.59 / kg NOx.
Historical payment rates from 2017
The difference between high and low payment rates has become smaller, especially calculated as a percentage difference, which is in line with the NOx Agreement 2018-2025.
