    Payment rate 2027

    The payment rates to the NOx Fund for 2027 will be NOK 21 and NOK 15 per kg NOx emission.

    The payment rates to the NOx Fund in 2027 will remain unchanged from 2026. This means NOK 21 per kg of NOx emissions for the oil and gas industry. For all other activities covered by the NOx tax, the rate will be NOK 15 per kg of NOx.

    The NOx Fund has previously signalled a possible future increase in the payment rates but has opted to make an early decision to keep them stable. This decision is based on many other factors currently creating uncertainty for the Norwegian industry.
